‘The Lion King’ opening night brings out Eugene Levy, Caitlin Cronenberg, Olivia Chow and others

That roar you hear is coming from the Princess of Wales Theatre, where the new Toronto production of Disney’s “The Lion King” opened on Nov. 10. The pre-show red carpet featured the new production’s cast, cast members from the 2000 original, celebrities and other VIPs. The evening continued with a post-show celebration at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel.
